Ok we’ll say it first... Look at the colour of that.... Oh how we hate those words and really spend much of our time trying to change opinions about colour in whisky, but here we are and this will be a popular release. And in case there is any doubt, this is natural colour from the cask, non chill filtered and cask strength.
Not our typical style when it comes to sherry, but we are having fun with these active sherry casks and this is a big old oloroso monster.
Aberlour for us really suits sherry. We fondly remember the early batches of A’bunadh and this hit similarly.
