Umiki is world’s first ocean fused whisky brand finished in Japanese pine barrels. This unique production technique also gave the name to UMIKI – Ocean tree whisky whereby “UMI” means “OCEAN and “KI” means “TREE” in Japanese.
Awarded Whisky of the Year (2022 Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards) and Gold at the 2020 World Whisky Masters, Umiki blends desalinated ocean water with Japanese malt and imported grain whiskies, then ages in pine barrels. The result is a delicate whisky with notes of sea breeze, flowers, fresh pine, resin, spice, caramel, and red apples. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a whisky-forward cocktail.
