Refill bourbon barrel matured Bowmore, certainly one of our favourite Islay distilleries (ok we admit it, we love them all).
Andrew and Chris were pulling cask samples recently in the warehouse, this particular cask had a very unique character, one so unique it was marked with a (very rough) sketch of a roast chicken.
While they're not going to win any art prizes any time soon, they have won some whisky ones so yeah, chicken cask, more specifically roast chicken flavoured crisps. Which explains why the label artwork is a crisp packet.
