Bottling Notes:
Bivrost Heimdallr is between four and six years old. The majority of the whisky was initially matured in ex-rye casks and then finished for one year in seasoned Amontillado sherry casks. A portion was matured in bourbon casks, with a small component aged in Amburana (Brazilian “teak”).
Each release in the Æsirs Series will feature original artwork. For Heimdallr, Bivrost have collaborated with Polish artist Hubert Wilczewski, whose illustration portrays Heimdallr sounding the Gjallarhorn to mark the beginning of Ragnarök.
An Art surprise
Exclusively for the international markets, nine bottles have been randomly selected to include a signed and numbered print of the artwork. Each print is a unique collector’s item, and the boxes containing them have been distributed at random among international markets.
