Having released some very dark coloured, heavily sherried whiskies this year, the team at LBD thought, if people like these heavily sherried whiskies so much, why not cut out the middleman and just bottle sherry!
Dark, sweet, rich, a bit of fun but also an interesting experience for the curious whisky drinker who wants to better understand sherry cask maturation and how flavour develops. Sourced directly from Bodega Perez Barquero and matured using the solera and criaderas system.
There isn't a lot of this and it’s well priced for the curious consumer or just people looking for something special for Christmas.
The label, warm and Christmassy red, the bottles are different so we’ve got the dog pattern on the label instead. As with each of their world drinks, LBD have changed the headline language to the country of origin. A kindly Spanish friend helped with the translation after the first version was rather uncomplimentary/very rude, an honest mistake
