Hailing from one of the world's highest distillery's, located in Sweden, High Coast Distillery is blessed with unique conditions for whisky making.
Älv is one of four releases of the Origins range, and the most elegant. Aged in 1st Fill Bourbon casks , the easy going, approachable dram is a great introduction to the distillery. Averaging around 6 and a half years old, the whisky is naturally coloured and non-chillfiltered.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Freshly baked vanilla sponge with lemon drizzle
Palate: Soft on the tongue, almost melt away sweet flavours of vanilla, citrus sweets, nuts and custard cream biscuits. Liquorice comes through with time in the glass.
Finish: The finish is sweet, light toffee notes, some vanilla lingers. It is a short but pleasant finish with no heat, a really enjoyable, quaffable whisky indeed!
