Product Details: This award-winning whisky has been fully matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels for 18 years. Deanston Distillery has been built on the River Teith and is driven by water power re-established at the distillery.
Cask: American oak barrels which held a sweet Bourbon.
Tasting Notes:
Nose Aromatic, floral, grassy & malty balanced with notes of american oak, honey, tobacco and nutmeg.
Palate: Sweetness of gingerbread, vanilla & barley sugar with spicy white pepper, manuka honey & citrus.
Finish: Ddry spice & honeyed ginger warmth.
