Product Details:
17.2 is a compelling second step in the 17 series, a double wood maturation of super heavily peated single malt.
Matured in French Oak that previously aged Californian wine, then bourbon before Octomore. Then finished in first fill port barriques.
Created using 100% Mainland Concerto barley, aged for 5 years and peated to 81.0ppm.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Strawberry and blackcurrant cassis notes mepd with steadily building peat smoke
Palate: Peppery and earthy, lemon zest and lime oils provide brightness.
Finish: Rich, vibrant and beautifully composed.
