Speyside Single Malt from the Dufftown Distillery bottled at cask strength by Woodrow's of Edinburgh as part of the Warehouse Reserve Collection. Released in Q2 of 2022.
Sometimes they come across liquids that have great potential but missing something, or sometimes think that it would be interesting to add some more flavours, complexity or "oomph" to the spirits.
Either way, Woodrow's do love a bit of secondary maturation on the side. Sourcing wood carefully and directly, these spirits are also bottled under “Warehouse Reserve”.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dark chocolate, cinnamon buns, marzipan, honeycomb, Christmas pudding with sweet maltiness
Palate: Chocolate truffles, nutmeg, sultana, walnut, cinnamon and a touch of espresso with brown sugar and tobacco.
Finish: Dark chocolate, dry tannins and spicy warmth.
