From mainland Scotland's northernmost distillery comes Morven. A lightly peated whisky from Wolfburn.
Taking its name from the highest peak in Caithness, Morven is surrounded by peat aged up to 10,000 years.
The whisky itself is full of light smoke character, with fruit and fresh sea air on the nose. Floral notes and barley come through on the palate with late hints of vanilla and spice. The smoked peaty note returns on the finish before slowly ebbing away.
