Event Details:
Celebrating the North East of Scotland's contribution to Whisky! With 9 distilleries creating whisky in our region, it is a crying shame that we aren't recognised as an 'official' whisky production area, however that doesn't stop us shouting about the great products on offer.
At this event we have selected four great expressions from our local distilleries to showcase the region. We will look at some of the great stories and passionate people who helped make the area what is is.
Did you know we produce more than 60% of the barley used in Scotlands whisky, as well as the majority of the peat for all your smokey whiskies, all coming from Aberdeenshire.
Join us in the Inverurie Whisky Shop tasting room for some drams, stories and fun, and also meet new friends to enjoy and share a dram with.
