Bottling Notes:
Something Blue marries two favourite botanicals - tonka beans (Dipteryx odorata) and buchu leaves (Agathosma betulina), as well as 6 further botanicals - to create a gin like no other. Something Blue tows the line between the "flavoured" and "dry" gin categories, somehow managing to be both - yet neither - simultaneously
Style: Flavoured
Key Botanicals: Tonka beans and buchu leaves.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Floral nose, with lavender and violet leading. Some detect subtle (but welcome) hints of cardamom and fresh mint.
Palate: Suggestions of fresh garden herbs and sugared almonds are complimented by summer berries drizzled in a light marzipan.
Finish: The finish is long, dry, refreshing, just subtly sweet and not-so-subtly moreish.
