Bottling Notes:
A very nicely presented early 2000s (70cl) bottling of 10 Year Old Macallan (Sherry Cask). The old-style packaging shows Easter Elchies House in watercolour.
These increasingly rare bottles are a collectors dream, but also hark back to what some believe is a whisky quality far superior to todays offerings.
Cask: Sherry Cask
Unpeated
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Complex, with a hint of fruit and heather honey.
Palate: Soft and malty, balanced with oak, chocolate and fruit.
Finish: Lingering, with dark fruits and christmas spices.
