Single cask bottling from Little Brown Dog of a 2013 Glentauchers whisky.
Why they did what they did with this whisky - "We love Glentauchers, if we were in a position to buy any Speyside distillery, which by the way we're not, then we'd buy Glentauchers. This cask was originally good, spirit mature whisky, but it lacked character or depth, something a good wood finish would help. We paired it with the Pineau des Charantes sweet dessert wine cask to add fruit and richness."

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Apricot jam on buttered wholegrain toast.
Palate: Peach cobbler, the expensive ice-cream where you see the wee black dots of vanilla in it, white tea.
Finish: Well done crème brulee, tinned peach juice, rye spices.
