Up to six years from oak forest to the Highland distillery. Time and wood work together over the next eighteen years, within the cool darkness of the traditional, earth-floored warehouses. This creates the glowing Golden hue and wonderful mouthfeel of Glengoyne 18 year old. It is perhaps the perfect balance of complex oak, traditional skills and barley dried by air, never peat.
Spicy vanilla, fruit, ripe apples and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel. This is the result of eighteen long years and generous proportions of first fill sherry casks, and of the patience they take. the slowest distillation in Scotland.
