Cu Bocan


A lightly smoked whisky with rich citrus fruits and exotic spices, Cu Bocan from the Tomatin Distillery gets its name from the Gaelic for "Ghost Dog", a legend that still stalks the residents of Tomatin after many centuries.

Once, a distillery worker was relentlessly pursued by an imposing black beast with bared teeth. Overwhelmed by a desire to feel the hounds dense fur he turned around and reached out, only for the ghostly spectre - Cu Bocan - to dissolve before his eyes, leaving an inky blue cloud of smoke floating across the peated moorland....
