Caisteal Chamuis Heavily Peated Blended Island Malt 70cl
A bold and smoky whisky blended from a careful selection of fine single malts distilled on the Islands of Scotland, double barrelled for depth and a mellow oak-spiced finish.
Named after the Caisteal Chamuis (Castle Camus), an ancient ruin on the coast of the Isle of Skye, visible from the Torabhaig Distillery.
Cask Type: American Oak Hogshead, Virgin Oak and Oloroso Sherry Oak
Nose: Sea breeze, toasted teacake with salted butter, honeyed apple, and a pinch of pepper.
Palate: Caramelised nuts and flaked almonds, charred oak staves, a hint of medicinal smoke.
Finish: Singed barley, caramelised brown sugar and barbecued banana.
