Akashi-Tai Japanese Sake 70cl
A classically styled Honjozo sake made from Gohyakumangoku rice from Hyogo prefecture using rice mileed to 60% (40% removed).
Stopper Type: Screw Top
Nose: Bread and malty, with fresh melon and overripe pear. Faint seaweed and soy sauce.
Palate: Very faintly salty, yeasty green apple with clay-like mineral complexity, delicate passion fruit and faint zesty lime. Attractive creamy mouthfeel.
Finish: Tart pear, faint smoked salmon with green apple and fermenting acidity, sweet tropical fruit and light zesty lime citrus. Very faint saltiness.
