Bottling Notes:
A bold and Smokey whisky blended from a careful selection of fine single malts distilled on the islands of Scotland. All aged for 12 years or more, then doubled barrelled for a rich, smooth and lingering finish.
Named after the Caisteal Chamuis (Castle Camus), an ancient ruin on the coast of the Isle of Skye, visible from the Torabhaig Distillery.
Cask Type: Bourbon Casks and finished in Oloroso Sherry Cask
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Roasted nuts, chocolate bis hits, dried cherry and smoky bacon.
Palate: Salted caramel, mellow vanilla and plump sultana notes.
Finish: Lingering peaty notes with subtle dried fruits on the finish.
