Bottling Notes:
Single cask bottling from Chorlton Whisky of 21 Year Old Faemussach. Rumour has it that it’s from Benriach Distillery.
All Chorlton Whisky releases are bottled at natural strength from a single cask, with no chill-filtering or added colouring. No monkey business, basically.
Cask Type: Hogshead
Limited: 313 Bottles
Peated | Cask Strength | Natural Colour | Unchillfiltered
Tasting Notes:
Nose: a complex mixture of earthy/smoky and sweet/fruity notes, with charcoal stoves, orange jelly, green walnuts and black cardamom.
Palate: The palate has orange and mango, plus a big peatiness that is more resinous and phenolic than smoky
Finish: The finish is incredibly long and smouldering, with scorched honey and malt extract. An unusual and fascinating whisky!
