Carefully selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, this whisky has been matured in Octave Casks which are around 1/8th the size of a Whisky Butt.
This smaller surface area allows a greater interaction between the wood and the spirit, speeding up the maturation process and giving a great depth and flavour.
Full of tropical and fruity notes of Mango, Pear and Strawberries on the nose, followed by a palate of sweetness. Chocolate and caramel envelop jelly sweets and pineapple.
